Peter-Paul Ekelschot is Global Lead for Low Carbon Solutions at ING Bank, and a Co-Chair of Carbon Management Europe’s Finance Working Group.

At ING Bank, he is part of the Energy sector management team, spearheading the global rollout of CCS and green molecules. He also runs the Dutch Energy team (~30 FTE), which is active across Utilities, Renewables & Power, and Hydrocarbons & New Energies in EMEA.

Prior to his current role, Peter-Paul was responsible for the Global Energy Project Advisory teams in London, Houston, and Singapore, and managed client relationships with Upstream Oil & Gas clients in the North Sea.

He has extensive experience originating and executing large, complex transactions across the lending and financial advisory space, with earlier roles in ING’s Global Credit Restructuring team and both ING’s and KPMG’s Corporate Finance/M&A advisory teams.

Peter-Paul holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
