Zişan works at the intersection of CO₂ standards, technological developments, and emerging business and financing models for carbon management, representing Carbon Management Europe at ISO/TC 265 and CEN/TC 474.
She holds degrees in chemical engineering and environmental sciences, and was a visiting researcher at the Yale MacMillan Centre, where she focused on CCS and CCU deployment barriers in developing countries. She also has experience in think tanks, consulting, and venture capital.
Fields of expertise: Project finance, Venture capital, Carbon removal markets, CO2 standards, GHG emissions lifecycle analysis, CO2 utilisation pathways.
